Fleet & workshop
Jumbos, loaders and support machines are owned by QME and maintained in our purpose-built workshops, where our team carries out everything from complete machine assembly and major rebuilds to sandblasting, spray painting and component overhauls. Backed by a massive consignment of parts and a dedicated team of 50+ highly skilled craftsmen to keep our fleet performing at its best.

Our team is made up of highly experienced development, production and technical professionals who work together to achieve shift, weekly and life-of-mine targets while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and performance. From project planning and the first blast through to final commissioning, our workforce includes dedicated supervisors, underground miners, fitters, electricians, safety technicians and specialist support personnel, backed by experienced teams across administration, finance, human resources, procurement and project management, all committed to delivering efficient and reliable mining operations.
